Groovy Weekend Smoothie!
With a sunny summer July weekend predicted over the next two days, we have been sharing our favorite weekend breakfast treats in the MY Food office. Aside from the odd suggestion of bacon and eggs, the most favorite breakfast treat is a filling, tasty and sweet smoothie! We decided it would be a wonderful start to the weekend by sharing it with you all.
The recipe makes enough smoothie for 1 person:
- Dates (1-2 depending on how sweet you would like your smoothie to be)
- Spinach (handful)
- Coconut milk (250ml)
- 1 large banana
- Oats (1 table spoon)
- Chia seeds (2 teaspoons)
- Frozen mixed berries (1 handful)
- Fresh blueberries (1 handful)
Add all ingredients to your juicer or NutriBullet, blitz and enjoy!
The office vote was unanimous, this smoothie is best devoured after a Saturday morning gym session or run.
